So — been on this thing for about four months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I'd say something since a mate asked me last week. Am UK based, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, just so you know where I'm coming from.
The reason I started using it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never work out what an each way return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and get a shock. Now I type the odds in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. There's also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that's where I always lose track. If you want a look, it's over at super heinz betting — free, no signup.
One thing that really shifted things for me was the nerdier bits. There's an odds-to-probability calculator that shows what margin's baked in, and there's the kelly tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is handy too for when I'm splitting a race.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout is pretty plain — no polish, it's clearly function over form. On mobile it's fine though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There's nothing on the app store, it's browser only — fine by me just flagging it.
Right, that's me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, try it — saves me a load of dumb bets I'd have regretted.
